Subscribers
GreenSocs is funded by subscription. The GreenSocs subscribers fund engineering effort, and direct it's use.
In doing so, they collaboratively develop SystemC infrastructure while sharing the costs.
The GreenSocs roadmap is developed in collaboration with academic institutions in order for them to benefit from closer contact with industry.
Licenses
GreenSocs uses some specific licensing terms. In general, code developed by GreenSocs will offered using the GNU Public License (See Licenses/gpl). However, GreenSocs offers it's subscribers terms that are more suitable for inclusion of the GreenSocs IP in their own solutions. Subscribing Options
There are two levels of subscription: Access to the subscribers repository, non-GPL versions of GreenSocs code (See the GreenSocs Subscribers License License), and review versions of upcoming packages Access to the subscribers repository, voting rights and continual consultation during development changes annually in accordance to Subscribers needs
