GSGPSocket
The GreenSocs Generic Protocol is a 3-phase-protocol which allows more accuracy than the OSCI-BP and has a convenient user interface.
The Master and Slave Sockets replace the GreenBus GenericMasterPort and GenericSlavePort.
GSGPSockets are blocking and non-blocking APIs that replace the GreenBus APIs (full legacy support). Only little changes following simple rules need to be applied to legacy code (see 'Guide how to move from GreenBus' Book page).
The legacy support will later be expanded with additional features (see 'Future Plan' Book page).
Documentation:
This page reflects the current development status!
This GreenSocs Generic Protocol Socket is based on the GreenSocket and uses its extension mechanism for transaction data extensions and phase extensions.
How to use the API, see the GreenBus v2.0 White Paper and Implementation Proposal.
For GSGPSocket-specific information see book pages.
